On November 25, 2021, the Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to fundamentally improve the activity of Andijan State Medical Institute and Clinical Hospital” was adopted and reconstruction process began.
On June 14, 2023, Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Amrillo Inoyatov got acquainted with the reconstruction works being carried out in Clinical Hospital of Andijan State Medical Institute. Currently, the clinic is undergoing reconstruction and supplying with the most modern medical equipment imported from abroad. Necessary recommendations were made after the inspection the reception ward, operative and medical procedures rooms.
Minister of Health issued a decree for 2021-2023 years based on the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan during the visit to Andijan region on June 21, 2021. He inspected the new educational building of the institute for 2000 students, construction and finishing and announced his decision on construction of educational laboratory building for 2000 students in the territory of 2 hectares of land in the territory of ADTI Clinical Hospital.
In addition to comfortable classrooms, simulation center and laboratory rooms for students will soon be built to get good education. Young people will be able to increase their theoretical knowledge in practice. In addition, a new telemedicine center has been built where students will have the opportunity to observe directly surgical procedures carried out in the Clinical Hospital.
While getting acquainted with the reconstruction process the minister proposed to install the monument of Abu Ali ibn Sina, who was a remarkable doctor for all representatives of the medical field, in the front of the territory of the educational building. Also, he gave instructions on landscaping the territory of medical complex.
