On June 17-19,2023, professor Meakey Roh, the head of the leading Gynecology Center in Seoul, South Korea, visited Andijan State Medical Institute.
This visit was carried out according to the agreement within the framework of business trip of the institute’s experts to South Korea.
The Korean professor was welcomed by K. Salohiddinov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations, who introduced him to educational and scientific activity of our Institute.
He also visited Andijan regional perinatal center which is the clinical base of the 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and introduced the center’s activity and main departments.
Professor Roh gave a positive opinion about the conditions for pregnant women and employees at the regional perinatal center, availability of high-tech medical care facilities, laboratory and diagnostic departments. He met and communicated with professors and teachers of the department as well as with the students.
In addition, the specialist inspected the operation rooms of the institute’s clinical bases, where surgical departments are located, and got acquainted with private medical centers and hospitals in the city of Andijan.
At the final meeting, an agreement was reached with Meakey Roh to strengthen further international relations, to conduct joint scientific research and to organize training among specialists. The guests were presented with souvenirs by the administration of our Institute.
