On August 16-17 this year, the meeting of the Ministers of Health of the Organization of Turkic States and the Medical Congress of the Turkic World is held in the ancient and prosperous city of Samarkand.
Members of the delegation headed by the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M.Madazimov also take part in it. As part of this prestigious event, an Uzbek-Turkish forum was also held. As a result of the forum, mutually beneficial agreements were reached between the medical institutions of the two countries, specialized higher educational institutions and their clinics, private sector enterprises and pharmaceutical companies, a number of memorandums and agreements on cooperation were signed.
In particular, within the framework of the forum, a memorandum on cooperation was signed in a number of directions between the heads of two higher educational institutions – the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, professor M. Madazimov and the rector of the University of “Saglik bilimleri” of Turkey, professor Dr. Kemaliddin Aydin.
In addition, amendments and changes were made to the memorandum signed in 2021 in cooperation with the Ege University of Turkey regarding the establishment of academic exchange of students and organization of scientific activities between professors and teachers, i.e. congresses, conferences, symposiums and seminars.
