In order to improve the medical service provided to the population by the qualified professors and teachers of Andijan State Medical Institute and to promote a healthy lifestyle among the population, scrupulous medical examination and promotional activities have been held in all cities and districts of the region.
In particular, today, on September 26, medical examination was conducted in the territory of the multidisciplinary central polyclinic of Tortkol, which belongs to Izboskan district medical association. A total of 16 qualified specialists of the institute, among them cardiologist, endocrinologist, therapist, otorhinolaryngologist, neuropathologist, gynecologist, urologist, surgeon, dermatologist, oncologist and infectious disease specialist participated in this health event. During the event, 582 residents of the region underwent medical examination. As a result of examinations, directions were given to 4 patients who needed in-patient treatment at the regional hospital; 12 patients were directed to the district hospital. Also, free medicines allocated by our state were distributed to our citizens who need out-patient treatment due to the condition of their health.
Besides, during the event, clinical laboratory tests were conducted, ECG, X-rays, USI tests were performed according to the instructions. The members of the “Volunteers” team of ourinstitute gave useful advice to the population on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and distributed booklets. In 2 homes elderly people who needed to be looked after were visited by the necessary specialists, given the necessary recommendations, health care was carried out.
