Today, on September 27, the next meeting of the Academic Council was held at Andijan State Medical Institute. It was attended by the rector of the institute M. Madazimov, vice-rectors and members of the academic council.
At the beginning of the meeting, candidates of sciences, winners of national and international competitions were awarded. Also, K. Mamajonov, a teacher of the Department of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Neurosurgery of the Institute, was elected as “Honorary Associate Professor of the Institute”.
After that, the report of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs B. Abdullajanov on the issues focused on medicine and education in the strategy “Uzbekistan – 2030” was listened.
It introduced 5 priority areas and 100 goals included in the strategy “Uzbekistan – 2030” , and highlighted the issues of higher education and health care among them.
Also, the report of the head of the scientific department G. Mamathojayeva was listened regarding the analysis of the 9-month rating results in the departments. The election and scientific data were also reviewed.
