Today, on November 13, the next meeting of the student housing working group has been held in Andijan State Medical Institute in connection with the implementation of the decision N 605 “On measures to introduce the system of reimbursement of rent paid by students living at a rented apartments” of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued a resolution on September 24, 2021.
S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth issues and spiritual and educational affairs, Kh. Kochkarov, the leader of the primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, employees of coordinating department for providing accommodation to students, faculties deans’ assistants and tutors participated in this meeting.
At the meeting the work performed related to accommodation of students in rented apartments was analyzed. The applications of 290 students living on the basis of the right to rent in an appartment that is not covered by a dormitory and does not belong to them, including their parents (legal representatives) has recommended to the working group that notices the registration of real estate contracts; housing rental contracts are registered on the basis of criteria. During the meeting, Youth leader Kh. Kochkarov gave information about the students who were given recommendation letters. Student documents were studied by the working group. In addition, necessary assignments were given to the personals to get acquainted with the conditions of students living in rented accommodation, to explain the rules of technical safety.
The working group examined the documents of the students and found that the rent payment of 284 students who fully meet the relevant criteria was reasonable, an offer was made to join the system of reimbursing a part of the rent payment.
