Today, on December 12, the next meeting of the working group on providing accommodation to students was held in Andijan State Medical Institute in connection with the implementation of the decision No. 605 according a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on September 24, 2021 “On measures to introduce the system of reimbursement of rent paid by students living on the basis of the right to rent”.
S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educationalwork, G. Kholmatova, adviser to the rector for women’s affairs, D. Matmusayev, the head of the coordinating department for providing students with accommodation, department employees, tutors participated at the meeting.
At the event the performed work related to accommodation of students in rented apartments has been analyzed. Applications of 160 students who live on the basis of the right of rent in a house that is not covered by a dormitory and does not belong to him, including his parents (legal representatives) notified the notices of real estate contracts being taken into account, recommended to the working group, stating that housing rental contracts are registered on the basis of criteria. The working group studied students’ documents. In addition, necessary tasks were given to responsible persons of getting acquainted with the conditions of students living in rented accommodation, explaining the safety rules of equipment.
The working group studied the documents of the students, and found that the rent payments of 154 students who fully meet the relevant criteria were reasonable and an offer was made to join the system of paying a part of the rent payment.
