Today, January 19, a cultural and educational event under the slogan “New Uzbekistan – enlightened society” has been held in Andijan State Medical Institute.
S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational work, G. Kholmatova, adviser to the rector for women’s issues, chairwoman of the women’s advisory board of the institute M. Koziboyeva, Uzbek language and literature, languages associate professor of the department, M. Umarkhojayeva, holder of the state scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, members of “Aqila” women’s movement and active women participated at the meeting.
The speakers at the ceremony spoke about the fact that great attention is paid to the family and women in our country, their education, scientific activity and as a result, the number of female scientists is expanding. It was mentioned about the opportunities created for women’s happiness, family stability, social protection of women, ensuring their employment, business development.
In the artistic part of the event songs and dances were skillfully performed by the students of music school No. 1 of Andijan city, junior representatives of the art and the talented team of the institute. Their entertaining performances gave everyone a good mood.
