A group of children’s surgery specialists from Moscow, Russian Federation, visited the Department of Pediatric Surgery of Andijan State Medical Institute as part of international relations. It was planned to exchange experience, conduct demo-lessons and deliver lectures on modern diagnosis and treatment methods related to the specialty.
The first day of the event began with the regular meeting of the “Interregional Society of Children’s Surgeons”. This event was attended by N.I.Pirogov National Scientific Medical University of the Russian Federation, attended by Y.F. Isakovassociate professor of pediatric surgery, Ph.D., V.V. Kholostova, Ph.D., associate professor N.A. Al-Mashat, Ph.D., associate professor P.M. Yarustovsky and a group of experts from Kyrgyzstan. At the event visiting specialists from the Russian Federation delivered lectures “Minimum invasive treatment methods in children’s surgery” and “Modern treatment methods of Hirschprung’s disease”. The event was full of questions and answers.
The guests met with K. Salohiddinov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of our institute and talked about student exchange and joint management of the student scientific society.
Foreign specialists held seminars for students of the Faculty of Pediatrics, clinical residency and Master’s degree students. Also, they performed high-tech surgery on 5 patients with anorectal birth defects in children as a master class.
