Today, on April 25, a literary and artistic event on the topic “The poet who won the love of the people” was held at Andijan State Medical Institute within the framework of the “Sharing Enlightenment” project, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of the national poet of Uzbekistan Muhammad Yusuf – the son of Andijan.
The event was opened by the rector of the institute, M. Madazimov, who said that during his short but meaningful life, Muhammad Yusuf left a rich literary heritage, his works glorified the freedom of the Motherland, the happiness of the people and the bright future of the country, that his poems won the recognition of the people and deeply touched hearts of people.
After this, Associate Professor of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature Kuziboeva M. and Head of the Department of Work with Women and Girls Kholmatova G. spoke at the event. They said that every line of the poet’s poems expresses sincerity and love. The originality of the poems was recognized. They mentioned that the poet’s respect and love for the people around him and youth were boundless not only for his poetry, but also for his high human qualities.
In the artistic part of the event, activists of the primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan skillfully performed poems by Muhammad Yusuf, glorifying the Motherland, reflecting loyalty and love. Songs based on the poet’s poems were sung and dances were performed.
