Honoring the sacred memory of our ancestors who demonstrated courage and sacrificed their lives for today’s peaceful days as well as continuing their noble deeds proved to be one of our ancient values. The passionate and selfless people around us will always remain in our honor and respect.
Today, on May 8, Andijan State Medical Institute organized an event “Memory is forever, value is sacred” in connection with May 9 – the Day of Remembrance and Appreciation.
Rector of the Institute M. Madazimov opened the event with an introduction speech and narrated on the heroism of our brave and steadfast compatriots who sacrificed their lives in the Second World War. He spoke about honoring the mentors and teachers of our nation and the need to study their life experience.
After that the honorable teachers of the Institute spoke and remembered the deceased teachers who had being worked in our Institute for many years, trained many students and made a worthy contribution to the development of the medical field. They wished health and success in honorable and difficult work of the teachers working together in the team. They also expressed their satisfaction that they are always respected and honorable.
The honored teachers and hardworking employees, who have been educating the young generation in the Institute for many years, were awarded with cash prizes and valuable gifts according to the order of the rector of the Institute.
As part of the event professor N. Mamasoliyev, who has been working effectively at the Institute for many years, was congratulated on his anniversary, souvenirs were handed over.
In the artistic part of the event talented young people of the primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan performed scenes depicting the painful days of the war years. Songs and dances put everyone in a good mood. “Andijan Polka” also invited the teachers to dance.
The festive event was held in a cheerful spirit and gave everyone a pleasant time.
