Today, on May 20, a scientific and practical conference was held at Andijan State Medical Institute with the participation of foreign experts on the topics “Is there a connection between prediabetes and chronic coronary syndrome?” “Discussion of the clinical situation”, “Cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes mellitus and their relationship”.
It was attended by MD Elena Giorgadze, the scientific director of the National Institute of Endocrinology, Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, professor of Tbilisi State University named after I. Javakhishvili, as well as MD, Professor Zurab Klimiashvili, the head of the cardiology department of the Pineo Medical Ecosystem clinic, national coordinator of EARS in Georgia.
The conference was attended by endocrinologists, cardiologists, therapists and family doctors from all city and district medical institutions in the region.
During the conference, the head of the Department of Hospital Therapy and Endocrinology, Sh. Yusupova, gave a lecture on current issues of endocrinology.
