Today, on May 31, the delegation led by M. Madazimov, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, accompanied by Sherzod Khasanov, the employee of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany, visited the “Helios” clinical hospital in Berlin.
They met with professor Torsten Bauer, the head of the Pulmonology Department of this clinic and got to know the department and the clinic’s activities, high-tech, clinical innovative diagnostic and therapeutic methods as well as the process of using artificial intelligence in diagnostics.
As the result of the visit, “Helios” Clinical Hospital and Andijan State Medical Institute agreed on cooperation in the field of training of specialists in clinical oncology and radiology, applying the new technologies.
Besides today a meeting has been held between the delegation of ASMI and professor Ingo Fitse, the head of the Department of Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and Somnology of the Faculty of General Medicine of Berlin University. Issues of cooperation in the scientific and academic sphere were discussed there. Problems of distance lectures, student academic exchange for Bachelor’s students as well as for Masters’ Course and clinical internships have been considered. It was agreed to sign a cooperation agreement on attracting German specialists to the clinical base of ADTI for clinical research, training, conducting complex operations, introducing modern diagnostics and targeted therapeutic methods of lungs and prostate oncology.
