THE STATE EMBLEM OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN IS 32 YEARS OLD!

Today, July 2, is the day of adoption of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In connection with this date, a ceremony was held in Andijan State Medical Institute.

The Dean of Pediatric Faculty R. Rahmonov and the Head of the Scientific Methodology Department of the Information Resource Center Y. Iminova spoke about the beauty and uniqueness of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Important information about the state symbol was mentioned.
The State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted on July 2, 1992 and today it is 32 years old.

The State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a symbol of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The emblem is depicted on state flags, seals, official forms, important documents, currency, state bonds and some buildings.
The color and black-and-white image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan is approved by the Law “On the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan” (July 2, 1992).

The national emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan has the following appearance: the sun is shining with golden rays over the mountains, rivers and a flowery valley surrounded by wheat bunches on the left side and cotton branches with open balls on the right side. In the upper part of the emblem eight-cornered star is depicted as a symbol of republican freedom, there is an image of a crescent and a star in its internal part. There is a symbol of happiness and auspiciousness – the Humo bird with outstretched wings in the center of the emblem.
