Andijan State Medical Institute

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Faculty of Pediatrics of the Andijan State Medical Institute was established by the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 3, 2011 No. 487.
Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Pediatrics, Andijan State Medical Institute, based on the special regulations and the “On Education” of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Bulletin of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, No. 9, 1997, Article 225) and “National Personnel Training program” (Bulletin of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, No. 11-12, 1997, Article 295) and the Regulation “On Higher Education” and the Andijan State Medical Institute dated 19.07.2021 242-P of the year “The structure of the institute, faculty and departments” revised in the institute and approved by the Ministry defines the procedure for organizing the activities of the department of the higher education institution.
In 2017, the department of pharmacy was established under the department of pharmacology and clinical pharmacology of the pediatric department of the Andijan State Medical Institute.
In 2017-2019, 1 senior lecturer and 5 assistants started working at the department.
Andijan State Medical Institute was initially established as the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pediatrics, and 21 professors worked there.
1 of them is a candidate of science, 3 are senior researchers, and 17 are assistants.
In accordance with the order of Andijan State Medical Institute dated 25.08.2022 No. 257-G “The structure of the institute, faculties and departments revised in the institute and approved by the Ministry”, Andijan State Medical Institute Faculty of “Pharmaceuticals” and “Pharmaceutical Sciences 1 and 2 departments were established.
In accordance with the order of the Rector of the Andijan State Medical Institute No. 242-P, on July 19, 2021, an independent department was established for the purpose of training educated specialists based on the policies of the President to pay great attention to science and to create new jobs in accordance with the policies of the President, who are conducting rational policies as a department of pharmaceutical sciences was established.
Currently, 4 senior teachers, 7 assistants and assistant trainees are working in the 1st Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The department’s scientific focus is on the creation and production of new drug forms and technologies. Six students are currently on the verge of graduation due to the establishment of the master’s course at the department.
Faculty therapy department is located in the clinic building of Andijan State Medical Institute.
