Today, on October 18, an international scientific-practical conference named “Relevant Issues of Pediatric Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Reanimatology” was held in Andijan State Medical Institute.
Scientists from Russia, the USA, Azerbaijan, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Tajikistan as well as specialists from various regions of our republic, professors and teachers from Andijan State Medical Institute, Master’s students, clinical residents and senior students participated both online and offline (in a hybrid format).
At the beginning of the conference the rector of the Institute M. Madazimov spoke about the relevance and importance of the conference topic. Following this, a congratulatory message from Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Khudayarov and Andijan Region Governor Sh. Abdurahmonov was delivered to the participants.
During the plenary session 11 presentations were delivered on the topics “A Comprehensive Approach to Diagnosis and Treatment of Cystic Transformations of the Common Bile Ducts in Children,” “Modern Inhalational Anesthetics in Pediatric Anesthesiology,” “Compression Stenosis of the Abdominal Aorta in Children” and “Laparoscopic Techniques in Planned Pediatric Surgery.”
Afterward, the conference continued in three sections. The first section featured 25 presentations on “Anesthesiology and Reanimatology, Reconstructive-Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Cardiac Surgery”; the second section included 21 presentations on “Urogynaecology and Coloproctology”; and the third section presented 27 lectures on “Thoracic Abdominal Surgery.”
The presentations aimed to enhance knowledge about current innovations in medicine, new technologies, modern diagnostics in pediatric surgery, strengthen exchanges with foreign medical professionals and expand the processes of sharing experiences. Additionally, discussions were held on further strengthening collaborative connection between Andijan State Medical Institute and higher educational institutions in our country and abroad.
The international scientific-practical conference on “Topical Issues of Pediatric Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Reanimatology” will be continued tomorrow, on October 19. Master classes are planned to be held in Andijan Regional Multispecialty Medical Center, focusing on “Minimally Invasive Techniques for Abdominal Masses in Children.”
