Today, on January 10, a nationality promotion event titled “Young Queens of Medicine” was held at Andijan State Medical Institute with the participation of the first-year female students from the Faculty of Medicine.
The event was attended by G. Kholmatova, advisor to the rector on women’s issues, N. Akbarova, head of the Andijan City Committee for Family and Women, specialists from the “Welcome to Work” mono-center, G. Abduvokhidova, chief inspector for women’s issues at the institute, faculty tutors, and students.
Speakers at the event shared their thoughts on national values that encompass the language, customs, history, culture, traditions, and all material and spiritual wealth of every nation, as well as all aspects of its economic and socio-political life. They emphasized that such displays of nationality play a significant role in educating youth in the spirit of national values.
The female students participated in the event with performances focused on nationality. Songs, dances, and lively activities shared a joyful atmosphere with everyone. The international students also performed songs and dances.
Artistic performances by an actress from the Z.M. Bobur Regional Music and Drama Theater and students from the local music and arts school uplifted everyone’s spirits.
At the end of the event, actively participating female students were awarded honorary certificates and letters of appreciation.
