RECTOR HELD A MEETING ON ENSURING GRADUATES’ EMPLOYMENT

Today, on February 19, rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov held a meeting with graduating students from Baliqchi, Oltinko‘l, Ulug‘nor, Bo‘ston and Asaka districts, following the video conference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on February 13 regarding further development of the Olympic and Paralympic movement, advancing mass sports to a new level, and increasing physical activity among the population as well as based on the directives set by the regional governor Sh. Abdurakhmonov after the President’s communication with the youth of our country on February 14. The meeting was attended by vice rectors, deans of faculties and officials responsible for ensuring student employment.

Initially, the discussion was focused on the trust expressed by our President during the meeting, support for every initiative and the innovations mentioned during the meeting. Information was provided about the ongoing sports clubs and various sports competitions held regularly at the Institute’s student dormitory, which help students spend their free time meaningfully and contribute to their health.

“The medical staff must adhere to a healthy lifestyle; this is essential for strengthening public health. Engage in sports early in the morning and organize your free time meaningfully. Only then will you be able to achieve your goals easily and quickly,” said the Institute’s rector.

Additionally, rector expressed his commitment to support every student, particularly those young people who wish to embark on entrepreneurship with business projects.

Following this, the rector reviewed the current employment rates of students. He listened to information regarding what innovations students were working on in their field development and their projects. He instructed the officials to explore opportunities for implementing these projects.

As a point of information, nowadays, 49 out of 88 graduates living in Asaka district are employed; 33 out of 57 graduates living in Baliqchi district are employed; 12 out of 17 graduates living in Bo‘ston district are employed,; out of 63 graduates living in Oltinko‘l district, 39 are employed and 13 out of 23 graduates living in Ulug‘nor district are employed.

During the meeting, students received detailed answers from officials regarding their questions about employment opportunities.
