As you may know, the “Shifokorlar” team from Andijan State Medical Institute won a prestigious first place in the “Yurtim Qadriyatlari” competition and was awarded a cash prize of 50 million soums. Today, on May 23, a ceremonial event was held to welcome the “Shifokorlar” team.
The team members were greeted with high spirits under the sounds of brass instruments and drums.
The event was opened by the institute’s rector M. Madazimov, who noted that there are ample opportunities for young people to study, research, and showcase their talents. He emphasized that young individuals who achieve honorable positions are being suitably rewarded and that the “Yurtim Qadriyatlari” competition was organized to help students spend their free time meaningfully and become acquainted with our national, cultural, and spiritual values. He also sincerely congratulated the institute’s team on their achievement in the competition.
“Your accomplishments are undoubtedly the result of great effort and hard work. I highly value your efforts and will always support your initiatives. May this victory be the prelude to your future grand successes. May your flights always be high, dear students!” said the rector.
Following this, director D. Shayxov and F. Khojimatov, the head of the Youth Union’s primary organization at the institute, expressed gratitude to the institute’s administration for creating broad opportunities to support the creative activities of young people. Team members also shared their impressions of the competition, friendly meetings, and the excitement of winning. The “Shifokorlar” team presented artistic performances.
During the festive event, each member of the “Shifokorlar” team was awarded a cash prize equivalent to three months’ stipend along with a certificate of appreciation. The team’s mentors were also set to receive certificates of appreciation and cash prizes.
The team members dedicated this victory as a gift for the institute’s 70th anniversary.
