Today, on August 11, the admission process at the Andijan State Medical Institute for the 2025/2026 academic year is being underway in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers’ Resolution No. 17 “On the procedure for admitting graduates of special secondary schools who have successfully completed their studies to the bachelor’s degree programs of higher education institutions through interviews”. This process allows special secondary schools graduates to be admitted to the institute’s Bachelor’s programs based on an interview.

At the beginning of the event, the rector of the institute M. Madazimov met with applicants and their parents, introduced them to the examination procedures and wished everyone success.
Following this, the rector held a meeting with members of the admissions committee and the teachers conducting the interviews to discuss the importance of organizing the process fairly and transparently. During the meeting, the rules for conducting the interviews and the established standards were explained in detail.

“The most important thing is to evaluate the knowledge of these young people fairly and transparently,” said the rector. “They are stepping into our Institute as future doctors and will actively contribute to the healing of patients in the future. The most deserving among them will contribute to the development of the medical field.”
The interview process is being conducted under full video surveillance. Importantly, parents and representatives of the applicants, officials from special secondary schools and employers have the opportunity to observe directly the interview process from the room where the interviews are being held. All necessary conditions have been created at the Institute for special secondary schools’ graduates, their parents and observers. The process is also being monitored by employees of the Institute’s Anti-Corruption and Compliance Control Department.
According to the approved schedule, today, sealed and stamped envelopes containing interview questions were opened by the applicants themselves as part of the interview process for admission to the relevant fields of study.
