The introductory and “Introduction to the Credit Education System” weekly lectures are ongoing for the first-year students in Andijan State Medical Institute.
Today, on September 4, lectures are also being delivered by S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work.
During the sessions, students are provided with information about the activities of Andijan State Medical Institute, the essence and advantages of the credit-module system, the purpose of selecting elective courses, the development of independent learning skills among students, principles of academic integrity as well as issues related to professional and personal development. Additionally, students are thoroughly explained about the internal regulations of the institute, dress code culture, active participation in classes, meaningful organization of free time through participation in clubs, effective use of the information-resource center and approaches to engaging with lessons using interactive and creative methods.
Furthermore, a spiritual and educational event was held under the motto: “Historical Memory, Spiritual and Moral Education – The Foundation of New Uzbekistan.” During the event, students received information about achieving independence, the path taken to attain it, the Jadid movement that fought for knowledge and enlightenment and the role of youth in elevating New Uzbekistan, including their continuous learning and achieving significant success.
Lectures within the framework of the weekly plan are also being conducted in the departments.
