“Currently, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Andijan State Medical Institute, Farrukhbek Rasulov, and Abdunosir Turgunov, a staff member of the Department of General Surgery and Transplantology and head of the Cardiovascular Surgery and Transplantology Department at the ASMI clinic, are on a business trip to the United States.
During their trip, they visited Harvard University and familiarized themselves with the teaching process and the activities of renowned clinics. Additionally, our institute representatives met with Jaime Mchunu, the head of the International Grants Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and our compatriot, senior researcher Nilufar Kahorova.
Jaime Mchunu presented the curriculum (syllabus) used by the center for teaching Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Transplantology to Harvard University students for implementation at Andijan State Medical Institute.”
