At present, Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, Professor Madamin Madazimov, and Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations, Professor Komiljon Salokhiddinov, are on an official visit to the University of Porto in the Portuguese Republic.
As a point of reference, the University of Porto is ranked among the Top 300 universities worldwide and boasts an enrollment of over 54,500 students.



The delegation from Andijan State Medical Institute was warmly received by the Rector of the University of Porto, Professor Antonio de Sousa Pereira, and Vice-Rector for International Relations, Professor Joana Carvalho.


The delegation was given a comprehensive tour of the university, followed by official negotiations between representatives of both higher education institutions. The discussions focused on the following areas:

➡️ Academic and student exchange initiatives;
➡️ Professional development for scientific personnel;
➡️ Strengthening of scientific collaboration;
➡️ Implementation of joint research projects;
➡️ Organization of international conferences;
➡️ Joint supervision and defense of PhD dissertations;
➡️ Expansion of postgraduate exchange programs;
➡️ Enhancement of cooperation in clinical and medical practice.
During the talks, both parties exchanged ideas on academic processes and expressed their firm intention to ensure the practical realization of the planned cooperative efforts.
