As is known, by the decree No. 605 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, starting from May 1, 2021, 50% of the monthly rent paid by students of state higher education institutions who do not have access to dormitories and live in rented housing owned by themselves or their parents (legal representatives) is covered by the state budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 60% of these students.

At Andijan State Medical Institute, many activities are being carried out to ensure the implementation of this decree, including a meeting of the commission. During this meeting, the head of the department for coordinating student accommodation, D. Matmusaev, presented a report on the work being done regarding the implementation of this decree. According to him, 50% of the monthly rent is being paid for 662 students at the institute. The department staff regularly visit students’ rented apartments to monitor conditions. Necessary recommendations are provided for signing new contracts.

In conclusion, tasks were identified based on the shortcomings discovered during the examination of the living conditions in the students’ rented apartments, as well as a plan for future activities was established based on the input from meeting participants.
