No matter the profession, every individual is instinctively drawn to literature and the arts. Honoring this timeless truth, the presentation of the esteemed book “Entries in the Life Memorials” took place in Andijan State Medical Institute on September 26.
The event was conducted within the framework of the “Respect for Teachers Month.” It was attended by distinguished guests including Chairperson of Andijan Region branch of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan Khurshidabonu, a member of the Union poet Halim Karim, Honored Worker of Agriculture of Uzbekistan M. EgamovaPresident of the Uzbekistan Academy of Medicine, Academician, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, I. Asqarov and the dedicated staff of the Institute.
The ceremony was opened by rector M.M. Madazimov, who paid special tribute to the author’s long-standing and fruitful career, highlighting the significant contributions made over the years.
Speakers at the event emphasized that Z. Salohiddinov’s scientific pursuits extend beyond his scholarly articles; he also devotes considerable attention to the education, manners and family relations of people. His life experiences and lessons, accumulated over the years, are conveyed to readers through his writings.
Throughout the event, videos depicting the author’s life and work were demonstrated. Students read aloud excerpts from the book. Additionally, doctor of medical sciences and professor O. Salohiddinov, along with professor N. Mamasoliyev, an academician of the Medicine Academy, praised the enthusiastic and diligent efforts of their colleagues, setting an inspiring example for the youth.
The presentation transformed into a genuine evening of literary celebration, with students performing poems and songs. We wholeheartedly recommend all lovers of literature to read “Entries in the Life Memorials.”
