A special training session was organized at Andijan State Medical Institute in close collaboration with the Department of Civil and Labor Protection and Andijan City Emergency Situations Department, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on “Additional measures to further improve the system of seismic safety for the population and regions of Uzbekistan.” During this training, qualified specialists from the field actively participated, focusing not only on providing theoretical knowledge but also on practical skills for students.
During the training, practical guidelines were presented to students on how to act correctly and effectively during earthquakes and fires. Special emphasis was placed on vital tasks such as self-preservation during natural disasters, quickly reaching safe places, and providing first aid to victims. Students participated in training sessions that simulated real-life scenarios, testing their knowledge and skills.
Additionally, a demonstration of modern technical equipment and tools used in emergency situations was organized during the training. Participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with advanced equipment and received detailed information about their operational procedures and capabilities. The exhibition generated significant interest not only among students but also among professionals, as such equipment plays a crucial role in saving lives during emergencies.
This training session was an important step not only in enhancing students’ knowledge but also in preparing them for potential emergencies in the future. Furthermore, it created a good platform for experience exchange and integrated activities among partner organizations. This, in turn, contributes to strengthening seismic safety in the region.
