Today, February 6th, an event titled “Verse and Melody” was held at Andijan State Medical Institute under the auspices of the Uzbekistan State Philharmonic Society’s Andijan branch. This musical-cultural event commemorated the birth anniversaries of two great figures—Mir Alisher Navoiy, whose legacy marks its 585th year, and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur’s 543rd anniversary.


First Deputy Rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual-Cultural Affairs, S. Salohiddinov, opened the ceremony with welcoming remarks, congratulating all attendees and highlighting the profound significance of the event. Additionally, Hurshidabonu Vahobjon kizi, Chairperson of the Writers Union of Uzbekistan’s Andijan Regional Branch, shared her insights on the literary and cultural heritage left behind by these illustrious historical personalities.


Organized with high artistic standards and imbued with national spirit, the event actively engaged all professors, staff members, and student participants from the institute. Throughout the evening, valuable literary works, poetic compositions, and musical interpretations from our esteemed ancestors were performed, leaving indelible impressions on the audience.
