As you may know, Andijan State Medical Institute has achieved another historic milestone. The Institute’s master’s degree programs in the following specialties – Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medical Radiology, Cardiology, General Oncology, General Surgery – have successfully undergone international accreditation by the prestigious ECAQA (The Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Healthcare) in Kazakhstan.
This achievement is a clear testament to the Institute’s education system fully meeting international standards as well as the high scientific potential and pedagogical expertise of its staff.
Today, the Institute team celebrated this joyful event with great enthusiasm. The celebratory event began with a formal ceremony. The rector of the institute M. Madazimov presented certificates of international accreditation to the heads of these departments in a solemn way.
In his speech the rector emphasized that this recognition is a high appraisal of the quality of education, the capability of professors and teachers and the dedicated work of the team. He also noted that this success will serve as a solid foundation for achieving even greater steps in the future.
During the event, the head of the Department of Therapy and Cardiology M. Ahmedov spoke about the importance of the international accreditation process, ongoing reforms to improve educational quality, as well as the future plans and projects.
The celebration continued with even more enthusiasm. Songs and musical performances were showcased, artistic acts prepared by students and the Institute team added a special glow and joy to the event.
This historic achievement is not only a milestone for the Institute’s team but also an important step in the development of medical education in our region and country.
