Today, February 23, the rector of the Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, organized meetings in a number of important departments of the institute. In particular, the 3rd and 5th year students of the Faculty of Pediatrics and General Medicine participated in the discussions held at the departments of Infectious Diseases, Psychiatry, Narcology, Medical Psychology and Psychotherapy, as well as the 2nd Faculty and Hospital Surgery. During the meeting, special attention was given to issues such as student activity during the educational process, thorough acquisition of knowledge and skills, and ensuring that they grow into competent and qualified doctors in the future. The rector emphasized the importance of active participation in classes, strengthening independent learning, and taking serious approaches towards practical training sessions.

Additionally, young people were urged to stay away from various negative habits and to spend their free time meaningfully and productively. It was recommended for students to actively participate in subject-specific workshops, sports activities, and cultural events. This would contribute not only to their professional but also personal development.

In the course of discussions, it was highlighted how modern conditions created within the institution benefit students, particularly emphasizing effective use of opportunities provided by the contemporary electronic library. It was noted that improving education quality through dual education system plays an essential role, encouraging regular attendance in lessons combining theory and practice.
