Today, on May 21, the regional champion of the Science Olympiad named after “Abu Ali ibn Sino” in chemistry and biology was held in cooperation with the Department of Preschool and School Education and Andijan State Medical Institute.
Students of the 8th-9th grade of general education schools took part in this Olympiad held at the academic lyceum of the Institute. The Jury of the Olympiad was formed by qualified professors and teachers of the Institute with potential and many years of experience.
Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov opened the Olympiad with an introduction speech; he spoke about the importance of such Olympiads in evaluating the knowledge of students and encouraging them to be more active. He wished all the students good luck.
According to the final results the 1st place among the 8th grades was awarded to Z. Yakhoyeva, a student of the 12th general education school in Buloqbashi district; the 2nd place was awarded to M. Odilova, a student of the 55th state specialized school in Buloqbashi district; the 3rd place was awarded to I. Abduqadirov, a student of the 47th specialized school in Marhamat district.
Among the students of the 9th grade, I. Ibrohimov, a student of the 44th specialized state comprehensive school in Shahrikhan district won the 1st place. A student of the 8th DIMI grade in the Izboskan district Y. Anvarjonova won the 2nd place. O. Sharipova, a student of the 47th specialized school in the Marhamat district, won the 3rd place. The winners were awarded diplomas and cash prizes.
