Free medical examinations organized within the framework of the mobile reception held by Madamin Madazimov, Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, continue in Shahrikhan district. This initiative aims to strengthen public health, facilitate early disease detection, and bring qualified medical services closer to the population.
The next medical examination was organized at Family Polyclinic No. 64 in Shahrikhan district. This polyclinic provides primary healthcare services to more than 24,000 residents living in 7 mahalla citizens' gatherings (neighborhood communities).
During the medical examination, over 400 citizens underwent an in-depth check-up conducted by 18 highly qualified professors, instructors, and medical specialists from various fields under the leadership of the institute's rector. The specialists listened to patients' complaints and provided necessary recommendations and instructions for treatment.
Modern diagnostic methods were widely applied during the examination. Specifically, electrocardiography (ECG) was performed for 74 citizens, ultrasound (US) scans for 68 citizens, along with laboratory tests. Based on the results of these examinations:
4 patients requiring complex treatment were referred to specialized regional medical institutions;
6 patients were sent to district medical facilities for additional examinations and treatment.
Additionally, doctors visited the homes of 3 patients who were unable to visit a medical facility due to their health conditions, conducting on-site medical examinations and consultations. At the conclusion of the event, free medicines of 120 different types were distributed to needy patients.
Such mobile medical receptions play a significant role in expanding opportunities for the population to access quality and qualified medical services, ensuring early disease detection, and increasing the effectiveness of preventive measures.
