A training seminar on “Academic Integrity” was organized for doctoral students, independent researchers and staff responsible for scientific work. This event was aimed at strengthening the principles of honesty, transparency and responsibility in scientific activities as well as improving the quality of scientific work.


During the seminar, the address of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations Kungirotboy Sharipov “Adopt Academic Integrity as a Law for Yourself” was presented. It emphasized the need to make academic integrity a priority value for every researcher and researcher and to adhere strictly to conscientiousness and objectivity in scientific research. The address also noted the need to be uncompromising in relation to plagiarism, falsification of data and other adverse situations. The participants exchanged views on the main principles and requirements put forward in the address and expressed their suggestions and comments.


As part of the event, the vice-rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of the Institute K. Salohiddinov presented an analysis of the Institute’s scientific activities. The report examined in detail the quality of scientific articles, theses and dissertations, their scientific level and relevance. Special attention was also paid to the issues of strict adherence to current requirements and rules in the process of preparing scientific works, the correct use of sources and the formation of a culture of citation. At the end of the seminar, the participants were given practical recommendations on the constant observance of the principles of academic honesty, the prevention of plagiarism and falsification and ensuring openness and transparency in scientific activities. It has been noted, that the development of science requires, an approach based on honesty and responsibility. This seminar was an important step towards establishing a healthy and fair system in the scientific environment.
