INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIAD ON ANATOMY AND HISTOLOGY, “MORPHOLOGY FESTIVAL”

The International Olympiad on Anatomy and Histology, “Morphology Festival,” is being held at Andijan State Medical Institute dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the institute. A total of 10 teams are participating from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and medical higher education institutions in our country.

The Olympiad is being conducted in Russian and English. Fourteen leading morphologists from foreign countries are participating as members of the jury for the Olympiad.

The opening ceremony was inaugurated by the rector of the institute, M. Madazimov, who wished success to the participants.

In the initial introduction phase, participants presented their team composition through a video presentation. In the second question-and-answer phase, students promptly answered questions related to the subjects of Anatomy and Histology. In the second half of the day, participants tested their theoretical and practical knowledge in these subjects.

The rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, got acquainted with the processes of the International Olympiad on Anatomy and Histology dedicated to the institute’s 70th anniversary, “Morphology Festival.” He also reviewed the equipment of the anatomy museum and the material and technical base of the Department of Anatomy and Clinical Anatomy. As a result of his observations, the rector assigned tasks to officials to further expand the department’s capabilities and create favorable conditions for students.

 

We remind you that the International Olympiad will continue tomorrow, April 29. Participants will demonstrate their practical skills in providing emergency medical assistance to patients in emergency situations.
