
In our country, the healthcare system, like all other sectors, is developing and improving. In this process, enhancing the new Uzbekistan medicine and training qualified personnel has been designated as an important task. In this regard, Andijan State Medical Institute has been leading the way in training doctors not only at the national level but also internationally for 70 years.
Today, on April 30, an international scientific-practical conference on the topic of “Application of Advanced Innovative Technologies in Preventive Medicine” was held in connection with the 70th anniversary of the institute.
Initially, the guests of the international conference were warmly welcomed with national songs and dances. Following this, the rector of the institute, M. Madazimov, opened the ceremony with a welcoming speech, highlighting and introducing the institute’s significant 70-year history. A video showcasing the history and present of the institute was presented on screen.
On this occasion, the congratulatory message from the regional khokim Sh. Abdurakhmonov was read by the deputy khokim K. Komilov, and the message from the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Khudayarov was read by O. Ismoilov, head of the Department of Science, Education, and Innovations of the Ministry of Health. Subsequently, the rector M. Madazimov was awarded the “Guardian of Public Health” badge based on the order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations of Uzbekistan Kongirotboy Sharipov also sent his greetings to the participants of the conference online. Additionally, congratulations were sent from both national and international partners, as well as rectors of prestigious higher education institutions in both online and offline formats.
During the plenary session of the international scientific-practical conference, over 10 reports were presented both online and offline by specialists from the healthcare sector from Russia, Sweden, Turkey, Germany, Australia, South Korea, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as experts from our republic.
After the plenary session, presentations were conducted in 6 sections. More than 145 reports related to Preventive Medicine, Internal Diseases, Maternal and Child Health, Surgery, Dentistry, and Medical-Biological topics were presented to the participants.
