On September 5–6 of this year, the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina hosted a series of scientific-practical events and an international conference dedicated to the 1045th anniversary of the birth of the great physician, philosopher and encyclopedic scholar Abu Ali ibn Sina, the Sultan of Medical Science and an outstanding contributor to the advancement of human civilization — as well as the 35th anniversary of the founding of Bukhara State Medical Institute.


Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute professor M. Madazimov took part in this prestigious event and delivered a speech. In his address he emphasized the significance of the conference, the importance of expanding cooperation in the field of medicine and the necessity of fostering innovation.
During the course of the event, Rector M. Madazimov was awarded the esteemed title of Honorary Professor of Bukhara State Medical Institute in recognition of his contributions to the development of medical education and science.


The conference program also included discussions on cutting-edge innovations in modern medicine, the integration of education and scientific research, prospects for international scientific collaboration and the relevance of Abu Ali ibn Sina’s intellectual legacy in the context of contemporary medical science.
Following the official opening ceremony, participants were introduced to the Institute’s latest innovative developments.
