Assalam aleykum esteemed doctors and respected veterans of the medical field!
First of all, I sincerely congratulate you, dear ones, who selflessly and devotedly work on the responsible and honorable path of preserving the health of our people, on the Day of Medical Workers.
Of course, all professions are equally responsible, but the profession of a doctor requires diligence and vigilance. At the same time, medicine is also the most rewarding profession. Because being a remedy for the suffering of a patient fighting for life and giving hope to their loved ones who are anxiously watching over them is a feeling that only a medical worker can truly experience in their heart.
In recent years, creating a high-quality and qualified healthcare system for every citizen has been designated as a priority task in our country, and extensive reforms are being carried out in this direction. At Andijan State Medical Institute, a number of effective measures are being systematically implemented to develop medicine and education. The importance of higher education institutions in shaping qualified medical personnel is significant.
It is known that starting from the academic year 2024-2025 , education will also be provided to students in the field of “Fundamental Medicine” . Additionally, alongside modern new educational buildings, a Central Scientific Research Laboratory and an institute clinic are being completed. This will bring healthcare closer to the populations of Andijan, Fergana, and Namangan regions. Our doctors returning from abroad will perform even the most complex surgical operations right here. These processes have already begun and are showing positive results. For example, kidney transplantation, complex cardiac surgeries performed open-heart, stent placements in blood vessels, high-tech operations in spinal surgery, endoscopic, endourological, laparoscopic, and reconstructive plastic surgeries have all been successfully carried out several times. Of course, these processes are actively ongoing.
Dear colleagues, medical workers, and students!
I trust that you will demonstrate all your knowledge and skills, potential and experience to fulfill your responsibilities with honor during the rapid and effective reform processes in the healthcare sector.
Once again, I congratulate you on your professional holiday and wish you great success in your future endeavors, family happiness, and prosperity in your homes.
Always stay healthy!
M.M. Madazimov,
Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute
