On November 13-14 of this year, the II international educational forum of Uzbekistan-Turkey higher education institutions was held in Samarkand. It was visited by representatives of more than 40 higher education institutions of our republic and more than 50 of Turkey.
The delegation of the institute, led by the rector of the Andijan State Medical Institute, Professor Madaminjon Madazimov, took part in this forum.
Within the framework of the forum, rectors of higher education institutions held negotiations in many directions, such as mutual academic exchange, scientific practice and professional development, student exchange, organization of scientific meetings and summer schools, conducting scientific research, and about 70 agreements were signed.
Among them, negotiations on the establishment of scientific and academic cooperation between Andijan State Medical Institute and the prestigious Necmettin Erbakan and Ondokuz Mayis universities of Turkey were held, and bilateral cooperation memoranda were signed.
Also, discussions were held with the representatives of both higher education institutions about the important development issues of cooperation.
