Professors of South Korea’s Handong Global University (Handong Global University), who are regional coordinator of the project, delivered lectures on the themes “Artificial Intellect in Medicine”, “3- D Modeling in Biotechnology Research”, “Nanotechnologies in Medicine” for students, teachers and professors of Andijan State Medical Institute within the framework of the UNESCO UNITWIN project of the United Nations. This meeting was initiated by professor Yu. Egamov, the Head of the Department of Surgical Diseases and Civil Protection and professor of the Department Z.B. Jorayev.
The lecture on “Artificial intelligence in medicine” was delivered by Professor Joo-Hing Kim of Handong Global University, South Korea, in an interesting and controversial manner, which proves to be a very urgent issue in the priority direction.
Lectures “3D Modeling in Biotechnology Research” and “Nanotechnologies in Medicine” were delivered by university professor Ah-Ram Kim on the basis of the research conducted at the same time in the universities of South Korea and the USA.
Students and professors listened to the lectures with great interest. During the questions-and-answers session, professors from South Korea expressed great confidence that the students of Andijan State Medical Institute have a high level of knowledge and will work as skilled doctors in the future.
Professors from South Korea signed cooperation agreements with scientists of Andijan State Medical Institute and Andijan Mechanical Engineering Institute to conduct joint projects and scientific research in the field of “Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnologies” in the nearest future.
