A meeting was held under the leadership of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the occasion of June 30th-Youth Day of the current year. In order to ensure the implementation of paragraph 12 of Statement No. 54, the agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of higher and secondary special education and the Central Council of the Youth Union approved the “program of actions aimed at further support and coordination of volunteer activities”. In accordance with this program, volunteer centers are being created in all higher educational institutions in our country.
In particular, the ceremony of awarding a new status to the volunteer group “FOLLOWERS OF IBN SINA”, which has been operating since 2018, was held at the Andijan State Medical Institute. The rector of the Institute M. Madazimov, the first vice-rector for Youth Work and spiritual and educational work S. Salakhidinov, young volunteers and students are participated there.
The Rector of the Institute highlighted the activities of the volunteer group, the achievements, the assistance provided to the population, the usefulness of the master classes held for students.
At the opening of the event, the chief coordinator of the regional volunteer center S. Odiljonova also took part and for the first time in the region presented detailed information about the center with the creation of a volunteer center based on the activities of the Andijan State Medical Institute.
Members of the Institute’s volunteer group made a presentation about their activities. During the event, a project plan was developed in 4 areas, divided into subgroups. In accordance with it, spiritual and educational, sports and mass events, executive ecology, volunteer directions of translators were organized.
In addition, at the event Ilyosmirzo Ziyaev was elected as a coordinator of the volunteer center of the Institute. At the end of the event, the members of the volunteer center demonstrated methods of first aid to patients in the form of practical exercises.
