The 2025 season of the “5 Initiatives Olympiad”, a nationwide series of mass sports competitions for students of higher and vocational educational institutions, was officially launched simultaneously across all regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The opening ceremony was marked by the awarding of honorary medals to several university rectors and distinguished students.
The event was attended by the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Adham Ilkhomovich Ikromov, Minister of Digital Technologies Mr. Sherzod Khatamovich Shermatov as well as other prominent officials.
Notably, during this grand ceremony, rector of Andijan State Medical Institute professor Madamin Muminovich Madazimov was honored with the prestigious “Excellence in Physical Education and Sports” badge by the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
