The Department of Women’s Affairs of Andijan State Medical Institute is holding a “Respect for Women” week on the occasion of March 8 – International Women’s Day.
Today, on March 3, the Department of Women’s Affairs of the Institute and the primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan jointly held the “Intellectual Quiz” intellectual tournament as part of this week.
12 teams consisting of female professors, teachers, employees and students of the Institute participated in it.
The game was conducted by the coordinator of the Institute’s “Intellectual” club Sh. Abdurakhmonov. All teams actively answered the interesting, fact-based, festively formulated questions. The teams competed for 6 rounds. A total of 40 questions in the form of music, cinema, logic and tests were played during the rounds.
The tournament was attended by the Institute Rector’s Advisor on Women’s Issues G. Kholmatova, who sincerely congratulated all women on the upcoming holiday.
-The “Respect for Women” week did not begin with the “Zakovat Quiz” intellectual tournament from nothing. The more knowledgeable and intelligent women are in our society, the more educated the generation they raise will be. Therefore, dear women, never stop growing and developing, said G. Kholmatova.
At the end of the intense and uncompromising tournament:
The “Monroe” team took the 1st place;
The “Diamonds” team took the 2nd place;
The “Positive” team took the 3rd place.
The winning teams were awarded diplomas and cash prizes of 1,500,000 (one million five hundred thousand) soums for the 1st place; 1,000,000 (one million) soums for the 2nd place and 500,000 (five hundred thousand) soums for the 3rd place.
