Raising the legal awareness and legal culture of the population in the fight against corruption, forming an uncompromising attitude towards corruption in society, and focusing on legal education and training issues in the field of combating corruption in educational institutions are among the important tasks of today. In this regard, systematic work has been established at Andijan State Medical Institute.


Today, on September 4th, a preventive event was held with the participation of the first-year students from the Faculty of Medicine to shape an uncompromising attitude towards corruption. The event was attended by S. Askarov, head of the Department for Combating Corruption and Managing Compliance Control Systems, M. Ulmasov, deputy dean of the Faculty of Medicine, as well as tutors.



During the event, students were provided with information about the activities, goals, and objectives of the Department for Combating Corruption and Managing Compliance Control Systems. Additionally, explanations were given about corruption, its causes, measures to eliminate it, and that individuals who allow corrupt practices will be held equally accountable before the law.
At the end of the event, videos on the topic “What is Corruption?” were presented, and students’ opinions on this matter were also collected.
