Today, on April 2, a round table discussion “We, the youth, are against drug addiction” was held in Andijan State Medical Institute.
It was attended by an employee of the Rapid Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Lieutenant Colonel Abad Utambetov, Head of the Drug Control Department of Andijan City Internal Affairs Bureau Captain Firdavs Sharofiddinov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs of the Institute S. Salohiddinov and students.
The event provided information about drug addiction, its causes, and symptoms. Information was also provided about measures to prevent the disease. During the event, statistics on the use of psychotropic and strong-acting substances by young people and the negative consequences caused by them were presented.
