J. Mansurov, executive secretary of the regional commission on drug control under the regional administration, D. Khojamberdiev, officer of the regional police department, Sh. Turakulov, forensic narcologist and J. Mamadalieva, head of the regional AIDS center took part in it.
The round table was opened by the pro-rector on Youth Affairs, Spiritual and Educational Affairs M. Botirov. Experts informed students about the negative impact of drugs, psychotropic substances and strong drugs on human health, the consequences of trafficking in these substances, the high probability of contracting AIDS due to these disorders. It was also explained on the basis of the analysis that criminal proceedings will be instituted against those who consume, sell, receive and mediate such harmful substances.
