A MEDICAL CHECK UP WAS HELD IN THE “SARIQ JO‘GA” NEIGHBORHOOD OF BO‘STON DISTRICT

14:34 19.06.2025

In accordance with the tasks set during the video selector meeting chaired by our President on “Ensuring employment for the population in neighborhoods, increasing their income, and lifting them out of poverty,” consistent work is being carried out to assist the residents of red category neighborhoods, ensure their employment, study their problems, and eliminate them based on the instructions of the regional governor Sh. Abdurakhmonov. In particular, Bo‘ston district’s “Sariq Jo‘ga” neighborhood was assigned to Andijan State Medical Institute. Accordingly, a working group was formed under the leadership of the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov to study the current situation in the neighborhood.

This working group is carrying out a number of systematic works. Specifically, on June 19, medical services were provided for the residents of “Sariq Joga” MCG. A thorough medical examination was conducted for 259 patients classified as groups 3-4 based on their health status at the Pakhtakor FP located in this area. 24 qualified specialists from the institute participated in the event. During the examinations, 87 ultrasound tests, 104 EKGs, 64 fluorography checks, and 178 laboratory tests were performed. Based on the results of the outpatient examinations, free medications were distributed to citizens who required treatment.

Free referrals were provided for 10 patients who needed health improvement to regional medical institutions, while 8 were sent to the district medical association.

Additionally, after the examinations, information was provided to the population about maintaining a healthy lifestyle, physical activity, and medical culture.
