Involvement of foreign specialists in the teaching process, conducting master classes for students in cooperation with them will definitely have a positive effect on the quality and efficiency of education. This time the Department of Children’s Surgery of the Andijan State Medical Institute was visited by A.V. Glutkin, associate professor of the Department of Children’s Surgery of the Grodno State Medical University of the Republic of Belarus, and N.V. Glutkina, associate professor of the 1st Department of Internal Medicine.
First, the guests visited the Regional Children’s Multidisciplinary Medical Center, which is the base of the Children’s Surgery Department of our institute. They got to know the possibilities created for patients in the center. At the beginning of the lesson, the Belarusian national anthem was played in honor of the guests.
After that, specialists gave a lecture on “Modern diagnosis and treatment of congenital malformations, pylorostenosis diseases” to 5th-year students of the Faculty of Medicine, clinical residency and master’s degree students studying at the department. Also, A.V. Glutkin conducted a master class on postoperative care of patients who undergone plastic surgery for hospital doctors and department staff.In the afternoon, Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov met with partners. During the meeting, it was agreed to further strengthen mutual cooperation in the scientific and educational methodical activities of both higher education institutions, further work on pediatric surgery and further expansion of the exchange of specialists.
