On April 16, 2019, the Regional Scientific Conference on “Problems in Modern Surgery” was held in cooperation of the Republican Specialized Surgical Scientific-Practical Center named after academician V. Vakhidov and Andijan State Medical Institute.
Leading surgeons from Andijan, Fergana and Namangan provinces participated in the event. Academician F.N. Nazarov opened the scientific conference and delivered a lecture on “Liver Transplantation Problems”. Specialists F.Sh.Bahriddinov and M.M.Akbarov also delivered interesting lectures on the topic “Actual problems of surgery, vascular and bile duct surgery”.
On the same day, academician F.G.Nazarov and a group of scholars visited the comprehensive school №1 in Andijan city and met with the students at school.
