An event titled “Ecology and Us: Together We Create the Future!” was organized at Andijan State Medical Institute. The event was attended by the head of the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Andijan region, acting head X. Maksumov, department head Sh. Pattaev, the first vice-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work of Andijan State Medical Institute S. Salohiddinov, acting vice-rector for Educational Affairs Z. Mamasoliev, dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy K. Yulchiev, and heads of various departments.
Initially, a ceremony was held to award the winners of the creative competition titled “Ecology – the Key to a Healthy Future,” which was conducted among students studying in the fields of Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy, Higher Nursing, Fundamental Medicine, and Preventive Medicine. The authors of interesting and creatively prepared wall newspapers were awarded with certificates of appreciation.
During the event, specialists provided students with information on topics such as preserving seedlings and trees, protecting the environment from pollution, saving energy, conserving water, developing ecotourism, rational use of scarce resources, increasing public activity, and complying with laws and regulations.
