The Student Theater Studio established in Andijan State Medical Institute has been discovering new talents throughout its active work. Young men and women passionate about art have been showcasing their talents and securing high positions in the competitions held.
Today, on December 2, the Institute stage of the “Best Student Theater Studio” competition took place. The most talented students from various faculties participated in it. Notable figures such as A. Choqqiyev, a member of the Republic Theater Workers’ Union, holder of the “Healthy Generation” order, and labor veteran; D. Shayxov, an honored cultural worker of Uzbekistan and regional chief director; S. Salohiddinov, the first pro-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work in Andijan State Medical Institute; A. Abduhalimov, the head of the department for working with youth, spirituality and enlightenment; G. Xolmatova, rector’s advisor on women’s issues and F. Xojimatov, a leading member of the initial organization of the Uzbekistan Youth Union participated as judges and fairly evaluated the performances.
In the competition the Pharmaceutical Faculty team staged Mansur Roziyev’s work “Oqibat,” Therapeutic Faculty team performed Erkin Khoshvaqtov’s “Andishali kelin,” the Pediatric Faculty team presented Usmon Azim’s “Ular odam emas,” and the Dentistry Faculty team showcased Sharof Boshbekov’s “Chimildiq.”
Through these performances, students portrayed the life of the era, its painful points, people’s pasts, joys and worries in both thoughtful and humorous ways.
According to the final results:
the 1st place was awarded to Pharmacy Faculty team,
the 2nd place was awarded to Stomatology Faculty team,
the 3rd place was awarded to Treatment Faculty team.
