As we know, Professor and an expert of the European Urological Association Oliver Hakenberg from Rostock University, Federation of Germany, has been working in close collaboration with the Urology Department of Andijan State Medical Institute. Now, this esteemed professor has begun his activities at Andijan State Medical Institute, having signed a three-year contract and been officially employed by our Institution.
Currently, Professor Hakenberg has commenced delivering lectures to our students. In addition, he is conducting advanced technological training sessions daily in collaboration with our Institute’s specialists.
During these three years, Professor Hakenberg will provide training on uro-oncological procedures and robot-assisted technologies to the team of the Urology Department at our Institute. Following the completion of the construction works of the clinical facilities, the introduction of robot-assisted technology has been planned.
Furthermore, Mrs. Birgit Hakenberg, the wife of Professor Oliver Hakenberg, is conducting seminar classes for students at the Department of Foreign Languages.
During these seminars, information was provided about the German education system, its structure and opportunities. These seminar sessions will continue for two weeks.
